The Great Plains Rodeo Association (GPRA) is excited about celebrating 40 years of gay rodeo in Oklahoma and glad you are joining us. We are an affiliated chapter of the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA) who sanctions the rodeo. We are an all-volunteer organization and any profits we make from the rodeo are given back to our community by donations to our Charity Partners. The GPRA board of directors is working diligently to produce the Great Plains Rodeo in 2026. We invite all contestants and spectators to join us.
 
Registration opening July 7, 2026! Entry fees are $35 per event/per day. Must enter a minimum of one event each day or two events in one day to compete. There is a minimum non-refundable deposit required of $70.
 
All IGRA rules and regulations will be adhered to for the Great Plains Rodeo. Contestant registration will be at the arena from 5-6.30 on Friday, August 7, 2026.There will be a fundraising show and reception starting at 8 pm. We hope to see you all there. Late Registration & Late Fee Policy: Late registrations will be accepted. There will only be a late fee of $50 shall be assessed to all contestants adding rough stock events after the preregistration period has expired. This fee applies only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number more than thirty (30) days prior to registration date.

Payout for the Great Plains Rodeo shall follow IGRA guidelines.
